How much do I get charged?
Every tour is unique. Therefore it would be difficult to give an exact amount before hand without evaluating the particular interests in you. It is best if you can go through our tour packages send a mail to info@canistatours.com or make a tour reservation. The package price can be negotiated based on your holiday type.
However it is important to mention that as Canista Tours we provide you with a transport of your choice for the tour you have selected. For any kind of a transfer you will be charged on a Garage to Garage basis.

Do many people speak english ?
English is the second language in Sri Lanka. So almost everyone working in a hotel, restaurant or anything related to tourism speaks excellent English. If there is a problem with the language we provide you with a professional guide for translations. In many common tourist attracting destinations (Eg: Sigiriya), you can have the services of people speaking multiple languages. (Eg : French, German, Italian etc.)
When is the best time to come to Sri Lanka ?
This is one of the best things about Sri Lanka. Being close to the equator Sri Lanka maintains a warm weather throughout the year. So feel free to come at anytime of the year for any type of a holiday.
What is the time zone that Sri Lanka belongs to?
GMT + 5.30hr is the Sri Lankan time zone.
What about money, travelers cheques, ATMs etc ?
The Sri Lankan Rupee (100 Cents) is only available within Sri Lanka. There are several banks at the airport when you arrive. You must keep your exchange receipt to change money back when you leave. ATMs are now available in most major towns for cash withdrawals. Credit cards are widely accepted.
